Point to Point is led by co-owners Breanna and Nelson Gunnell—lifelong equestrians and highly experienced builders with more than 50 years of combined expertise in equestrian construction, farm development, and facility design. Together, they have built and consulted for some of the most prestigious farms, universities, polo organizations, and private equestrian estates across the country. Their combined experience, paired with an intuitive understanding of horses and horsemanship, has made Point to Point a trusted leader in arenas, barns, polo fields, and full-scale equestrian facility development.
Nelson is a master builder and lifelong horseman whose depth of experience spans both advanced construction and elite equestrian sport. His background across show jumping, dressage, foxhunting, eventing, driving, and polo gives him discipline-specific insight that shapes the technical foundation of every project. This insight drives every technical choice—from arena and drainage engineering to stable ventilation, paddock layout, fencing, footing systems, and overall farm functionality.
Equally leading the company is Breanna Gunnell, a lifelong equestrian and licensed Class A contractor in both Virginia and Florida. Breanna brings deep construction expertise and a comprehensive understanding of equestrian facility development—from large-scale planning and layout to structural decision-making, materials, finishes, and on-site management. She oversees complex, multi-phase projects with a focus on precision, workflow, and long-term functionality. Breanna’s experience in both residential and equestrian construction allows her to blend technical knowledge with an intuitive sense of how horses, riders, trainers, and staff use a property every day—ensuring each facility is exceptionally built, designed, and seamless in its operation.
Point to Point is supported by a highly skilled team of carpenters, craftsmen, and excavation professionals. Our fleet includes a wide range of next-generation Caterpillar, New Holland, and John Deere equipment, all outfitted with the latest technology. By integrating Trimble jobsite base stations with advanced GPS and laser grading systems, we ensure every project is executed with precision and finished exactly to the specified grades.
Our engineers, architects, designers, carpenters, and builders work together to construct custom equestrian facilities, including one-of-a-kind barns, stables, and supporting structures.
